Loopcloud launched the Global Producer Challenge, a global music contest with a $100,000 prize pool and $200 worth of free VST plugins, samples, music production courses, and DJ tools for all contestants.
Global Producer Challenge is the biggest music production competition of 2021, organized by Beatport, Loopcloud, Beatsource, LabelRadar, and Plugin Boutique.
You are invited to join the Global Producer Challenge by downloading the free Participant pack ($200), creating an original music track, and submitting it to LabelRadar before July 15th (23:59 PT).
The freely downloadable Participant pack contains the following goodies:
- Puncher 2 by W.A. Production (coupon code provided);
- Ravage Lite by SoundSpot (coupon code provided);
- Auto-Tune Unlimited (three months free, coupon code provided);

The submitted track needs to be 100% original music. The competition covers six genres:
- Techno;
- House;
- Drum and Bass;
- Mainstage/EDM;
- Hip Hop & Trap;
- Reggaeton.
The jury will pick 30 genre finalists who will receive $2,500 worth of software equipment. The finalists will then compete in a public vote for a chance to win the grand prize – a dream studio hardware and software setup valued at $30,000.
The grand prize software bundle includes the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 audio interface, Glorious Workbench desk, Vicoustic Vicstudio Box acoustic panels, iZotope Music Production Suite 4, Modal Cobalt 8X synthesizer, Modal Argon 8M synthesizer, Adam A7X speakers, AKAI MPC One, and numerous other prizes.
Also, the five finalists from each genre will be considered for a full release and promotional campaign via Shogun, Rekids, Def Jam, Nervous, DJcity Records, or Spinnin’ record labels.
